Peaks and Plains Swimming League Rules 2017

The Peaks and Plains Swimming League is judged in accordance with FINA rules". The League is aimed at inexperienced Swimmers an a dispensation is made to allow swimmers to start in the water. Swimmers must start in the water where the depth of the pool is less that 1.5 m.

Eligibility

  • Swimmers must be 9 years of age by the end of the year containing the last gala)
  • Swimmers must be members of the Club which they represent at the time of the events
  • Swimmers can only swim for one club in a given year of league competition
  • Swimmers must be registered members of Swim England/ASA (Category 1)
  • Limits on Individual Swimmers

    Gala Results

    The winner of the gala is determined from the accumulated score over all events. Where two teams score the same number of points they share the position.
